Varnish in Website Hosting
Varnish is available as an optional upgrade with all our website hosting. You can add it to your account from the Hepsia Control Panel, which is available with all shared packages and you will get a really user-friendly graphical interface, which will grant you complete control over the data caching system. Using one-click fast-access buttons, you can restart or shut down any of the instances, in other words – Varnish will no longer be activated for a specific site. You can also see an in-depth system log or delete the cache associated with any of the sites. When you add Varnish to your shared web hosting package, you will be able to select the maximum amount of memory that will be available to you for content caching purposes and the number of the sites that will use Varnish. You can always add more memory in increments of 32 megabytes and, for optimal performance, you can assign a dedicated IP address to the websites that will use Varnish. This will allow you to take full advantage of your sites and to have a lot of happy website visitors.
Varnish in Semi-dedicated Servers
Varnish is an essential part of the standard service set that you will receive when you choose to host your websites under a semi-dedicated server account. You can activate it for any of your Internet sites through our next-gen Hepsia Control Panel. The default amount of memory that Varnish can use to cache data is 64 megabytes, but if you decide that you need more, you can upgrade this memory from the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. You can also upgrade the Varnish instances, i.e. the number of the Internet sites that can use this caching platform at the same time. Since these two things aren’t linked to each other, you can use a couple of websites with the default memory or you can get more memory in increments of 32 MB and use all of it for one single site. The Varnish caching platform works best when you allocate a dedicated IP address to the websites that utilize its power. The Hepsia Control Panel will offer you a simple means of restarting any instance. What’s more, you will be able to clear the cached content with just one single mouse click.
Varnish in VPS Servers
You can use Varnish with each of our VPS server plans at no extra cost, as the platform is pre-installed and is included by default. The only prerequisite is that the virtual machine must be ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel, via which you will be able to set up Varnish for any of your sites with just a few mouse clicks. Each VPS plan includes a different amount of memory for caching purposes, but you’ll get at least several hundred MB, which is sufficient enough even for several resource-hungry sites. Shortly after you set up the Varnish platform, it will begin caching the content that your site visitors open, so you will notice the considerably faster page load speeds and the lowered load on your VPS very soon. The platform will allow you to use a less high-priced server, since you will not need that many resources to warrant the uninterrupted operation of your sites even if you manage large-sized sites with many visitors. Maximum results are achieved if the sites that use Varnish also use a dedicated IP address.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
All dedicated servers that are ordered with the custom-built Hepsia website hosting Control Panel feature Varnish, which is among the pre-installed platforms that you’ll get with the dedicated server. The Varnish caching platform can be set up and administered without effort through Hepsia’s time and effort saving interface and, with no more than a click, you can view an in-depth log, create or restart an instance, clear the cache for any Internet site and much, much more. Soon after you enable Varnish for a certain domain or sub-domain, it will start caching the pages requested by your site visitors and once it has cached enough content, you’ll perceive a considerably faster site performance in addition to a lowered load on the dedicated server. With Varnish-dedicated memory starting at three gigabytes, you will be able to use the platform for load distribution purposes even if you run a large number of websites on your dedicated server.
