A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a specific mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the exact same domain, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be essential if you are running some company, for example. Since you may start receiving unsolicited email messages, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filters in order to receive only authentic emails in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without any effort in case you have a website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-rich, yet extremely simple to work with, and it will permit you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with only a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be displayed alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each of them you will see a small-size "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will activate this option, clicking on it once again will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you already have a different one with this feature enabled or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel that is included with each semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will allow you to set up a catch-all email mailbox effortlessly even if you don’t have much email/web hosting experience. All you need to do to achieve that is click the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address that you have created using your domain names in the Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you have already configured another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding enabled. If you decide that you don’t want the feature anymore, you can remove it by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager will also allow you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
